Figueirense vs Flamengo
By: André | September 3rd, 2008And we are, at least until tomorrow, 4th. Flamengo won the match (3-2) with an amazing presentation of Marcelinho Paraíba, Sambueza, Ibson and Leo Moura. The goals were scored by Ronaldo Angelim, Marcelinho Paraíba and Leo Moura.
Botafogo and Coritiba are the only teams capable of taking us away from the first four teams, but they will face each other on Saturday. If Botafogo win, they push us to 5th. If Coritiba win by a 5 or more goals difference, it will also happen. What I expect is a Coritiba victory (1-0).
Now we have to make two very difficult decisions: support Vasco and Fluminense on their matches agains Cruzeiro and Grêmio, respectively. Sad, but true.
Besides that, Palmeiras must lose their game against the Brazilian Cup champions, Sport, and we are definitely back.
What I believe? The results will be Coritiba 1 x 0 Botafogo; Cruzeiro 3 x 1 Vasco; Fluminense 1 x 0 Grêmio; and Palmeiras 0 x 0 Sport.
