Win or forget it
By: André | September 3rd, 2008Once again we have another decision. Today we will face Figueirense inside their home. Some say Figueirense can’t cause too much trouble and I agree. But I only agree with this sentence when they are playing away. In Orlando Scarpelli they are trouble and not only because of their team. We have to consider the weather (cold and rainy) that makes the ball run faster, the supporters that are always there, the lack of illumination inside the arena…
They are troublemakers.
But let’s face it: winning is our obligation. If we still want to win the Leagu, we have to beat them even if the match were on Mars.
Playing against them we won 8 times, tied 5 and lost 6, scoring 27 times and suffering 23 goals. We won the last game (5-0) and if we beat them today Flamengo can get back into the first four.
